There is a remarkable exchange going on in a rather unlikely place. Dennis Haarsager is NPR’s senior VP for system resources and technology and former acting chief exec, and the author of the blog Technology360.com. He and Mike Starling, NPR VP and chief technology officer and executive director of NPR Labs, authored a piece about HD radio appearing on the Current.org website and then posted on Dennis’ blog, here. The fascinating thing about this is the comments section that follows — and that Dennis has allowed to happen at all. Out of respect for what he’s done in fostering this exchange, we won’t quote it here. Go to the site and read the comments — beginning at the bottom. It’s amazing.
